I have been reading this book named "Deep Work" found some of its lessons very useful here are some insights into this book
Deep work is the ability to focus on a cognitively difficult task without being distracted. It's a skill that enables you to grasp complex material fast and deliver superior results in less time.
Decide where you'll work and how long you'll be there.
Whenever we start working do the deep work, not shallow work which means we should focus on one thing entirely.
- Quitting social media or even switching your phone to silent mode will help you concentrate on your work.
Breaks should be taken when you are tired, not when you are bored.
When learning or even beginning anything, the very first 20 hours are crucial.
- For the first 20 hours, we must be completely concentrated.
- Deep work hours are limited (1–4 hours per day), so choose your tasks carefully.
- Establish a system of accountability.
Begin by making a schedule for your day.
We go through most of our days on autopilot, not paying much thought to what we're doing
